Welcome to Hubba Hubba Smokehouse!
Hubba Hubba is closed for winter and will reopen in the spring.
Catering is open until Christmas but will take a break from Christmas day through the first two weeks of January then will be open all winter.
We are an authentic wood-fired smokehouse. No electric smokers here! We honor the Carolina Craft of LOW & SLOW barbecue, meaning we’re as far from fast food as you can get! The ribs you pick up at the window, like all of our meats, have been slow smoked for hours over a special selection of native hardwoods: red and white oak, and hickory. Our meats are hand pulled and selected to provide you with just the right mix of tender juiciness surrounded by seasoned bark crispness so every bite is savory. Our sauces and sides are scratch-made right here. We strive to provide the best product we can, and we think you will taste the difference!
Though there is often confusion with our name, you won’t find any Bubbas here. Our pitmaster, Starr Teel, and our chef, Todd Mallin, are classically trained chefs. So when you think of us, remember we’re not Hubba Bubba; we’re Hubba Hubba as in “Mmmm! Mmmm! Look at that brisket. HUBBA HUBBA!”
Hubba Hubba is also a great gathering place. It’s an informal place to bring a client for lunch, take a break from a busy day and a choice location for entertaining friends old and new at a catered event. For groups that need their own space, the new Honey and Salt restaurant in front of Hubba Hubba is available for private rentals when Honey and Salt is closed. Weddings and receptions on or off-site are also a popular way guests enjoy our catering.
