Welcome to Hubba Hubba Smokehouse!
We are an authentic wood-fired smokehouse so you’ll find no electric smokers here. We honor the Carolina craft of Low & Slow meaning we’re as far from fast food as you can get. The ribs your pick up at the window, like all our meats, have been slow smoked for hours over a special selection of native hardwoods: red and white oak, and hickory. Our meats are hand pulled and selected to provide you with just the right mix of tender juiciness surrounded by seasoned bark crispness so every bite is savory. Our sauces and sides are scratch-made right here. In addition to bbq, we offer unique seasonal sandwiches, soup, salad and even fish and shrimp on Fridays and Saturdays in the summer. We strive to provide the best product we can and we think you will taste the difference.
Though there is often confusion with our name, you won’t find any Bubbas here. Our pitmaster Starr Teel, and our chefs Mike and Lindsay Cromartie in the kitchen are all classically trained. So when you think of us, remember we’re not Hubba Bubba. We’re Hubba Hubba as in “Mmmm! Mmmm! Look at that brisket. HUBBA HUBBA!”
Hubba Hubba is also a great gathering place. It’s an informal place to bring a client for lunch, take a break from a busy day and a choice location for entertaining friends old and new at a catered event. We’ve also recently expanded to include a dedicated building for catering which makes us better able to serve bus groups and groups that need their own space.
